Inspiration for this shoot, came from my favorite movie of all time Almost Famous. If you haven't seen it, rush home and watch it right now!

After watching this movie, I like to pretend that I live in the 70's and I live my life chasing rock stars like Penny Lane. In this look, I paired a swing dress with thigh highs and lace booties. Of course I also had to have a pair of rad sunglasses and a big hat to match.

Hillary | Borrowed Denim

With the weather changing to cooler temps., it's making it less inviting to wear stylish outfits (it takes everything in us to get out of bed in the morn.) But, with one of my favorite fall styles, boyfriend jeans, you can maintain your cozy feel without looking like you just rolled out of bed. 

 My favorite boyfriend jeans, are my DIY mens Levis. I picked up a pair of Men's 501's and distressed them. They are literally soooo comfy, I feel like I'm wearing sweatpants. Which is probably why I wore them 3x last week. They are so easy to style - just grab your favorite flannel and booties, and you are good to go.

Ali | Blackbear

You will always see me wearing something black. Today I decided it was more of a black on black on black kind of day. I was really inspired when I went to a Blackbear concert in Hollywood on Friday. People in LA aren't afraid to be daring and out there. I took a little of everything I saw and put that into my own style here. 

And yes, you can call it a pimp coat if you want. I haven't stopped wearing since I bought it. I feel like a giant fluffy teddy bear and I like it. :)

Hillary | Militarian Femme

This winter it's easy to get stuck in your everyday outfit rut - the cold weather doesn't make getting dolled up all that enjoyable either. This is why we love military-esque coats and jackets. They are roomy enough to wear a sweater/sweatshirt under, and are light enough in weight to carry over to the Spring season.  Also, we just think they're rad, and why not look great and be warm at the same time. 

Plus you can wear them with your favorite leggings, or pair with your favorite jewels for a more updated look. Who doesn't love a wardrobe piece that you can throw on when running your daily errands, and then layer on some jewels and your favorite booties and be ready to grab drinks with your girlfriends.
