One of the best things about living in the City of Angels, is the endless shows that roll through. And when two of our favorite artists, are playing together at one of our favorite venues, the night can't be anything BUT amazing.
We were lucky enough to chill in the art-deco building, now known as The El Rey Theatre, that was built in 1936. A little backstory on El Rey -- what once was a single-screen movie theatre, turned dance club, now houses some of the greatest music acts, and living in LA, YOU have to go. Now onto the good stuff, the music. The lineup for the evening, was anything short of amazing. Local hip-hop artist Blackbear was the first to crash the stage, and while we were in the crowd dancing to our favorite beats, he was killing it on stage. Next up, was Mod Sun, a hip-hop artist from Minnesota, who has the one of the greatest energies we've ever experienced. Princess Pia Mia was next in line--one of the more entertaining sets, thanks to her sexy backup dancers. And, last but not least, was T Mills! We love music, and we love concert fashion. So, here's a tip! If you want to look your best, do yourself a favor, and DO NOT wear the artists merch while standing in the crowd. Save that T for the next day! You'll thank us later!
